The Turkish Airlines EuroLeague has presented the 2025-26 One Team Awards on the closing day of the 16th One Team Annual Workshop on Wednesday, September 9. Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul claimed the Gold award, JL Bourg-en-Bresse took Silver, Olimpia Milano earned Bronze and Sasha Vezenkov was named Best Ambassador, a list published by Eurohoops and Sportando following the final ceremony.
Award winners and projects
Fenerbahce's programme focused on supporting older people and tackling unwanted loneliness, developed with its partner, was selected as the Gold initiative among ten shortlisted clubs from EuroLeague and EuroCup. Bourg's community project earned Silver and Milan's initiative Bronze for their social impact work using basketball as a tool for inclusion.
On the individual side, Olympiacos forward Sasha Vezenkov was voted One Team Best Ambassador of the season from five nominees for his sustained hands-on involvement in the club's community activities. The honour recognises the player's direct work with programme participants.
A benchmark workshop for the community programme
The awards close three days of sessions at the annual Workshop, which brings together community managers from EuroLeague and EuroCup clubs to share methodology, training and best practice. This year's edition again highlighted how basketball can drive inclusion, education and wellbeing beyond competition.
Run by Euroleague Basketball, the One Team programme uses the sport to create lasting social impact, rewarding both project excellence and the personal commitment of ambassadors on and off the court.
