Official waiver in Indiana
The Indiana Pacers have waived guard Cameron Hildreth with immediate effect, removing him from the main NBA roster. The move, effective on September 15, fits the usual Exhibit 10 camp path before players are routed toward the G League affiliate.

Hildreth profile
Hildreth, a 6-foot-4 guard from the United Kingdom, went undrafted in 2025 after four seasons at Wake Forest. Last year he split time between the Noblesville Boom, Indiana’s G League affiliate —where he averaged 12.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.4 steals in 26 games— and a short stint with Bàsquet Girona in Spain’s Liga ACB.
Indiana had signed him to an Exhibit 10 contract a few days earlier alongside Keion Brooks Jr., M.J. Iraldi and Wade Taylor IV; the waiver does not necessarily end his connection to the franchise, but it removes him from the 21-man preseason roster.
What the waiver means
Once off the main roster, Hildreth no longer occupies a camp spot and the most likely next step is the Noblesville Boom, where Indiana holds his G League rights. If he spends at least 60 days with the affiliate, he could earn an Exhibit 10 bonus worth up to $91,000 on top of his G League salary.
For the Pacers, the move frees a spot on a list that had reached the 21-player offseason maximum without closing Hildreth’s path through the organization. The British guard remains positioned to build minutes and continuity in Noblesville while keeping an NBA call-up in play.
